GLENN GORLICH

ASSOCIATE

Glenn has been with HQW for 8 years and was named as an Associate in 2003. He has completed all NCARB requirements to pursue licensure and is currently completing the final portion of his ARE to obtain licensure.

His skills as a Project Manager have been instrumental in the success of numerous projects at HQW. Glenn’s involvement begins early on with Conceptual Design and continues throughout all the phases including final Contract Administration and closeout. He prides himself on the quality of design and the attention to detail setting new standards for projects developed by HQW.

Along with the responsibilities of project management Glenn has taken an active role in the development of the interns and designers at HQW by teaching them the same focus on quality and follow through that was taught to him by the more senior team members of HQW.

Glenn also prides himself on the development of the Residential Studio which he spearheaded in 2005 and continues to lead today. This Studio has allowed HQW to extend its spectrum of work into a broader market and has allowed Glenn and other Studio members to explore design on a more intimate scale than is typical with the larger commercial projects. His interest in this residential market began in 2004 when he developed the design and documentation for his private residence which he later constructed as the lead contractor and completed in 2006.

In addition to his architectural endeavors, Glenn is a carpenter, world traveler, and avid golfer always in search of that next great round of golf.
