As one of the founding partners of Houghton Quarty Warr Architects, Bill has been a passionate leader in local architecture and innovative planning. Bill's guidance has had a profound impact on HQW's new business development and his inventive design approach is evident in our project programming and company philosophy. Bill's commitment to our firm is indicative of the way HQW conducts business and his contributions are central to the success of our firm.

Bill has been heavily involved in the local community serving as Chairman of many area advisory boards. Bill is a past president of the Newton Rotary Club and continues to serve on the board of the Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Bill is an avid sailor and has designed and constructed his own sailboat. Bill is a collector of impressionistic art and regularly attends performances by the New York Philharmonic.
